MATV.... so what is it?

MATV stands for Master Antenna Television System or also know as Multiple Access Televisions System.

Put Simply a MATV system means a multi Unit building can transport TV and FM singals to many recievers.  Commonly MATV is used in Motels, Apartment Blocks, Retirement Villages, Hotels, Hospitals, Schools and Unit complexes.

The Installation process for MATV requires a high level of skill and experience to understand the components, type and number of components and will vary in degree of difficulty depending on the building and its intended purpose.
