As part of the school water efficiency program during the Qld drought, DET tendered out a program of water efficiency works in high schools and primary schools in Brisbane. We were successful in winning the project to retrofit 55 schools in Brisbane with compliant toilet systems and urinals.
We completed this contract in 2007. We have had four teams of plumbers working on this contract. Each team was led by a team leader. Our office coordinated the work through our service centre and we had a supervisor plumber managing quality and logistics. We estimate that we completed 1,500 toilets in 10 to 12 weeks.
The total value of this work has exceeded $2 million.
