Tempering values automatically calculate the input flows of hot and cold water to ensure the correct output temperature is made. Fallon Services can carry out thermostatic value testing to ensure that your buildings hot water is at the correct temperate.

The tempering valves need to regulate the outlets at temperatures no greater than 50 degrees Celsius in domestic applications and 45 degrees Celsius in applications such as:

  • Early childhood centres
  • Primary and Secondary schools
  • Hospitals
  • Nursing homes

Thermostatic mixing values are required to be installed and serviced in to comply with the National Plumbing and Drainage code AS 3500.

Under the legislation tempering values do require servicing and maintenance at intervals no greater than 12 months. Our administration team can schedule annual maintenance to ensure that you are keeping up to date with your requirements under the relevant legislations.
