Even though it is early days in the recovery effort our team of electricians are working through the night and weekend helping make key Brisbane assets safe. Our team are working at Albion Park to help get the race course working again, testing schools with Q Build to make sure they are safe and ready for the return of students in a week, testing and repairing large electrical switchboards for body corporates and businesses and completing electrical safety checks for hundreds of residences in West End and other flooded areas. We have purchased large amounts of stock so that we can complete work efficiently.
In the 1974 floods we had 20 electricians working for 8 weeks on 10 hour shifts working 6 or 7 days a week helping the people of Brisbane. Much of the work was completed in the Yeronga area and Southside as well as Rocklea and Brisbane West to Oxley and further.
Our plumbers are also busy at Shopping Centres such as Westfield and Centro as well as at homes making sure roofs don't leak, drains are cleaned out, gas hot water systems are safe to use and plumbing fixtures such as toilets work again.
Our handymen are working on fixing general problems around the house and business.
The office team are working this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday to help book jobs and coordinate the team working through the weekend.
So call or email us if you have any urgent needs and we will try to have one of our team of 80 staff there as soon as possible.
