Play it safe with electricity and appliances after flood damage

All appliances that have been submerged in flood water must be tested by a licenced electrican before they are switched on. It is not enough just to wait for them to dry out.If your switchboard or electrical fittings have been inundated by water, they must be tested by an electrician before use.
In many cases switching an appliance on such as an air conditioner can destroy the equipment where a quick service can save the equipment.
