Flood Affected Gas Appliances

Flood affected residents with a gas connection must not use their gas appliances before important safety checks are made. Gas installations in flood affected properties must be checked by a licenced gasfitter before the gas supply can be restored.

APA Group

As soon as it is safe to do so, gas networks operator APA Group will visit areas which were inundated to ensure that gas services are restored safely.

To have your gas reconnected after inspection, contact APA Group on 1800 808 526 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting            1800 808 526      end_of_the_skype_highlighting.

Origin

Origin urges all customers that all gas appliances, components, supply cylinders or tanks affected by flood water will need to be checked by a competent and qualified gasfitter prior to the gas supply being turned on again.

Origin customers can obtain advice and information on LPG cylinder safety by phoning 133 LPG (133 574) for more information.
